Access Today. Impact Tomorrow.

Expanding access to global learning and service opportunities for all students.

Who Are We?

Access Abroad Project, Inc. provides financial and emotional support to students studying or serving abroad by covering critical costs like passport and visa fees, travel expenses, and care packages. We believe in breaking down economic and systemic barriers so every student, regardless of background, can experience the transformative power of global learning and service.

The Access Fund

The Access Fund opens doors for students to explore the world by removing the financial barriers that stand in the way of their first international journey. Through support for passports, visas, travel, and other key expenses, we help turn global dreams into real-world experiences.

Globetrotter Goodies

Our Globetrotter Goodies program will send curated care packages to students abroad, filled with comforting and practical items that remind them home is cheering them on. Our first cycle launches in the 2026-2027 school year.

“When students are empowered to explore the world, they return home ready to change it.”

“Growing up on the westside of Atlanta, I always dreamed of seeing the world, but studying abroad felt out of reach. As a student at Spelman College, I wanted the chance to learn in another country but didn’t have the resources to make it happen. Years later, I joined the Peace Corps and finally experienced how powerful global learning and service can be. That experience changed my life and planted the seed for Access Abroad Project. I created this organization so that every student with a dream to explore the world has the opportunity to do it.”
